On Wednesday, July 15, 2026, Chief Bucs signed the attached emergency declaration for Sunday, August 9, 2026. This was done in preparation of the 2026 Jazz Festival.

 

The goal is to restrict parking on the roadways listed in the emergency declaration in order to maintain public safety, ensure efficient traffic flow, and preserve clear access routes for emergency services during the event. Most roadways will be restricted to parking on one side, while some small sections of roadway will be no parking on both sides.
