The Bicycle Unit is a comprised of patrol officers who have attend a rigorous training course in the proper use and deployment of a police bicycle. They patrol different areas of the Township and can often times access areas that a patrol car can not. Bicycle officers tend to be more visible and approachable to the public and have therefore increase our community policing efforts. You will find our bicycle officers throughout the town at various times of the day and night, as well as at community events and events where large crowds can be expected. Feel free to say hello to our bicycle officers when you see them around town!
